Simply Voting, the third party company that ran the vote, has tabulated and verified the results of the election held on May 19th and 20th, 2021. The overall results are as follows:

One position for MTA President:

Abstentions: 4
Total: 1146

Two positions for MTA Member-at-Large:

Domenico Di Santo: 692
Robert Lavoie: 493
Anita Sacco: 823

MTA Vote result on provincial collective agreement

Thursday, May 13th

At the Special General meeting held on Monday, May 10th, MTA members voted 89% in favour of accepting the government offer for our teacher sectorial collective agreement. Thank you to all for your participation at the meeting, and for the high level of support for the agreement. We will provide an update on ratification of the agreement once all the results from the local unions at QPAT and the FSE are in.
